Shipping policy
General shipping terms
Afrikanska Kompaniet delivers orders to customers with an address in Sweden. All orders are processed within 5 working days from order received. If Afrikanska Kompaniet experiences a large order volume, deliveries may in rare cases be delayed. Afrikanska Kompaniet also reserves the right for possible inaccuracies in inventory balances stated on www.afrikanskakompaniet.se.
In the event of a significant delay in the delivery of your order, the Customer will be contacted via e-mail or phone. Reimbursement of paid packages then takes place in accordance with our Refund Policy from the time the Customer expressly chooses to cancel their purchase. In case of out-of-stock products, the African Company will contact the Customer and refund any amount paid without undue delay.
Expected delivery time is 5 working days and in exceptional cases the delivery time can be from around 10 days to 12 weeks for goods Afrikanska Kompaniet does not have in stock. For ordered goods, the delivery time may be longer than 45 days. The time is counted from the time the African company confirms the order in the order confirmation.
Shipping
Fixed shipping cost of EUR 12 (140 SEK) on all orders.
ATTENTION! Extra shipping costs may be added to certain products, these are clearly stated at checkout.
We deliver to addresses on the mainland within Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and selected EU countries. You must select the desired country in the country selector on the website before completing the purchase.
Delivery time
Stock items are normally shipped within 1-3 non-holiday weekdays. Order items are those specified with "sent within x-x days" on the respective product page, this is an estimated time within which the supplier can ship the product. We disclaim any liability for balance errors and periods when the load on our stock may be higher than normal.
The transport usually takes 1-3 working days for packages to agents and another 1-3 working days for products that are delivered with home delivery from the day they receive their first scan at the terminal.
When the goods are sent, you will receive a delivery email with the contents of the shipment and shipment number if available, here you will also see how many parcels the shipment is sent in. You will not be able to see information about the shipment until it has arrived at the first terminal, which normally takes 1 -3 weekdays.
It is important that if you can only receive the goods before or after a certain date, you state this at checkout in order to avoid possible warehouse rents with the carrier. However, we can never guarantee a specific delivery date.
Partial delivery
If your order is divided into several separate deliveries due to it being sent from different warehouses, you will receive one email per shipment - you will NOT be charged extra for any partial deliveries.
Delivery delays
If possible, you will always be informed of delivery delays. Reasons for delivery delays are, for example, when a supplier cannot fulfil his commitment to us. Should an unexpected delivery delay occur, you as a customer can always cancel the purchase free of charge. ATTENTION! This does not apply to products that are not in stock and that are produced according to the customer's order. If you as a customer should experience that the delivery is unusually delayed and as a consequence no longer wish to complete the purchase, it is your responsibility to cancel the order. In cases where we have already had time to send the shipment, you must receive the item. A cancellation is only valid if you have received a confirmation from Afrikanska Kompaniet via email.
Afrikanska Kompaniet does not compensate you as a customer for any delivery delays. Do not book work or craftsmen before you have received and checked the item!
Return shipping
You as the customer are responsible for the return shipping with any carrier If, however, it is a warranty case or faulty condition, we will of course cover the shipping cost, if this is the case contact us at info@afriksakompaniet.se
Delivery to islands
We offer delivery to addresses on the mainland according to the same cost as shown on your order confirmation. As a customer, you yourself must ensure that the delivery is received at this address and then arrange further transport to the island. In the case of delivery to islands that are not connected by a bridge, if possible, a special delivery can be agreed with regard to price, delivery time and delivery method. It is important to contact us before purchasing if desired. The same applies to those who intend to book an installation service to a non-bridged island.
Change of delivery address
When you accept the terms of purchase and place your order, you confirm the specified delivery address. We cannot change this afterwards due to possible fraud attempts. If you want a different delivery address when ordering, you can pay by card or direct payment and then choose to click on "other delivery address" and then enter an address other than your registered address. It is important that you check that the delivery address is completely correct before the order is completed and approved.
Transport damage
If upon receipt of the goods you discover that transport damage has occurred, please notify the driver immediately at
