Courteney "Selous"
This boot is the flagship of the Courteney range. Tested for decades in the harshest conditions, it is the work shoe of choice for adventurers, safari guides, hunters, rangers, field researchers and photographers.
The Selous boot is named after the famous adventurer, explorer, naturalist, conservationist and big game hunter of the 19th century, Frederick Courteney Selous. His adventures inspired Sir H. Rider Haggard to create the fictional character Allan Quatermain.
Crafted from Cape Buffalo leather, this boot has a soft Impala collar and full bellows tongue for effective protection. The boot has brass fittings and quick lacing.
Each pair is handmade, serial numbered and comes with a travel kit: "Courteney Chronicle" case, dust cloth and straight cleaning kit, which contains shoe polish, brush and extra laces – to keep your exclusive boots in top condition and ready for your next adventure.
Available in stock in full light or full dark buffalo leather. Can also be ordered in dark brown/light brown combo. The boots are stocked with a tire grip sole but can be ordered with a ripple sole.
